Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Full payment must be received before goods can be dispatched.
We guarantee any information supplied to us is secure and protected, our online
Payment system will encrypt all your personal information including credit or debit card number. The encryption ensures that your transactions are private and protected.
None of our customers have reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of shopping with us.
In the event of unauthorised use of your credit or debit card, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
DELIVERY OR COLLECTIONS
The delivery price quoted are for mainland UK only under the following provisions:
Deliveries are made between Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm.
For deliveries outside of these hours, or for a Saturday delivery, please contact us for a quote.
Please contacts us for delivery quote to the Highlands, off shore Islands, Ireland and EU member states.
All items are checked for quality and photographic evidence is taken, prior to despatch to courier. This ensures that all goods leave us in a pristine and immaculate condition.
You will be advised once the item has been despatched and provided with a delivery date. If you are not in to accept delivery, the courier will leave a card. It is the buyers' responsibility to re-arrange delivery. If you fail to re-arrange the delivery or are not available to accept the re-delivery, the goods will be returned to Serene Holistic and you will be charged an additional delivery fee to re-despatch the goods.
Small Items: are sent via Royal Mail.
Larger items over 2kg are sent via courier company.
Upon purchase, please provide a contact number and any specific delivery details / instructions; these will be passed onto the delivery company to ensure a smooth and easy delivery. Any items purchased and dispatched any costs relating to Duty, Customs clearance etc is the purchaser's responsibility, we or the carriers will not take any responsibility or liability for the charges under any circumstances.
We do not book collections as a general rule however if customers request for us to book third party collections, we can only ascertain the conditions of goods once they arrive with us, the customer is responsible for all liability arising . All Consignments should be appropriately and securely packaged for Carriage taking into account the content of the Consignment and ensuring that it does not cause damage or injury to equipment or personnel or otherwise; The Carrier shall be entitled to refuse to carry Consignments which are not suitably packaged. The Customer shall fully indemnify and hold both the Company and the Carrier harmless for any costs, expenses, loss or damage howsoever arising out of its or any third party's failure to comply with the provisions of this section.
All Consignments should be correctly labelled, and that all labels shall be securely fixed, clear, and legible and placed on the largest flat surface of each parcel comprising the Consignment for easy visibility.
When we make arrangements to have goods collected or delivered, we are merely booking the collection on your behalf, you are the owner, and as such you must ensure the goods are adequately packaged and labelled and insured. The Company and the Carrier shall not in any circumstances be liable for any late delivery, miss-delivery or non-delivery caused by or contributed to by the deficient or ambiguous labelling or any other failure by the owner of its labelling or packaging obligations.
Courier companies calculate freight based on weight, volume and destination.
EU member states are generally on two to five days delivery, outside of EU can be longer.

Starlight: Handmade therapy tables and accessories is generally 14 to 18 working days, from time to time this can be 21 working days; these items are made to order only.
Serene Holistic: our normal delivery for these goods is 2 to 5 working days stock permitting.
If goods are short delivered and have been charged for, we will be more than happy to cover the cost of freight and send the goods as soon as possible.
Customers are advised to notify us for goods damaged in transit or short deliveries within two working days of receipt of goods.
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Customers Ordering from UK, or the European Union 20% VAT is payable.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption through Paypal secure server, and not held in clear text by us or on any other web site.
WARRANTY / GUARANTEE
All Serene Holistic WELLBEING Products come with manufactures warranty against defects in product only.

STARLIGHT TABLES comes with a parts and labour warranty, which is 3 years. This guarantees the table against verifiable defects in parts. This applies to the original purchaser only. Our foams and fabrics carry the manufacturer's warranty cover; most Starlight accessories carry 1 year warranty and sewn goods 90 days.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by improper setup, accidents, misuse and or tears or cracks in the upholstery. The warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the table at our discretion.

Serene Holistic does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
All financial details supplied by customers are destroyed by fire once the payment has been received. They are not held in clear text on any web site. All card details supplied through our on line store is encrypted for your security.
Returns: You must inform us (in writing), with full details, as soon as possible, for any reason subject to the following:
1. Item must be despatched for return within 10 days of receipt and must be received within 14 days.
2. Item must be unused, and in the original condition in which it was sent.
3. Item must be returned in its' packaging; the item must be received in a re-saleable condition.
Failure to adhere to the above will result in decreased value of refund being offered.
Return of unwanted items:
It is the buyers' responsibility to organise and pay for the cost of return.
Item must be packaged and item must be received back undamaged and in re-saleable condition.
Serene Holistic will not refund items that are damaged due to poor re-packing or that have been damaged during transit by the return courier company the buyer selects to use. It is recommended that when returning goods, insurance is purchased to cover the full cost of the goods.
If the item is returned contrary to the above, it is the buyers' responsibility to resolve any issues or claims with the courier company selected.
Cancellations would need to be made prior to despatch. Should you change your mind after the order has been dispatched we can make arrangements to have the goods collected which with the original delivery charge will be incurred and will be deducted from your refund . Goods on discount or special offers will only be refunded to the value on Invoice. We do not take responsibility for costs relating to Duty, Customs clearance etc is the purchaser's responsibility, we or the carriers will not take any responsibility or liability for the charges under any circumstances.

All orders are paid for prior to shipping.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, Switch Solo, Maestro, Visa Delta, Visa Electron Cards,
Direct Deposits, Cheques or through Paypal on a secure servers.
Customers are advised normal offer discounts will be reduced for card payments.
Cheques are made payable to Serene Holistic, and clear funds must be in our bank account before goods can be dispatched.
